Macライフを楽しんでいます。ということにしましょう（笑）。
今は単に、こうしてブログを書いているぐらいですが、これからは、CGや、コンピュータミュージックのMIDIにもいつか、時間と心に余裕が出来たら、挑戦してみようかな、と思ったりしてます。でも、この「いつか」が曲者で、いつかは、来ないものなんですよね（苦笑）。
私が購入したMacBookは「ずいぶん軽量だなあ」と思ったら、Windowsのパソコンのように、DVD（駆動装置）が付いていなかったんですね。MacBookの入門書を読んだら、外付けのDVDが販売されていると書かれていたので、早速、家電量販店に行って買いに行き来ました。
土日だと混雑して、店員さんはほとんど相手にしてくれませんが、平日だと相手にしてくれます。店員さんが勧める外付けDVDを購入しました。4880円でしたが、この店でMacBook Airを購入したので、莫大なポイントが貯まっています。そのポイントで楽々買えました。感覚的にはタダで貰ったようなものです（笑）。
せっかく、ここまで来たので、近くにユニクロがあったので、新聞の全面広告に出ていた「カシミアセーター」を買うことにしました。夏はあれだけ猛暑だったのに、今は寒くてしょうがありません。普段着の安価なセーターが欲しいと思いましたが、カシミアですと、ユニクロでも流石に高い。9900円もしました。
あれっ？ DVD装置より遥かに高いじゃありませんか。
まあ、軽くて着心地も良いので気に入りました。

I suppose I can say I’m enjoying my Mac life. (laughs)
For now, I’m just doing things like writing this blog, but I’ve been thinking about trying my hand at CG and computer music MIDI someday, when I have more time and mental energy. But that “someday” is the tricky part—it never seems to come (chuckles).
The MacBook I bought felt really light, and I realized it didn’t come with a DVD drive, unlike a Windows PC. I read in a beginner’s guide to the MacBook that external DVD drives are sold separately, so I immediately went to the electronics store to buy one.
On weekends, the store is too crowded and the staff hardly pay attention to you, but they are helpful on weekdays. I bought the external DVD drive the staff recommended. It was 4,880 yen, but since I bought my MacBook Air at this store, I had accumulated a huge amount of points. I was able to easily buy it with those points. It felt like I got it for free.
Since I had come all this way, I decided to buy a cashmere sweater that was advertised on a full-page newspaper ad. There was a Uniqlo nearby. Even though summer was so scorching hot, now it’s just unbearably cold. I wanted an affordable sweater for everyday wear, but even at Uniqlo, cashmere is expensive. It cost 9,900 yen.
Wait a minute! That’s much more expensive than the DVD drive!
Well, I like it because it’s light and comfortable to wear.
